Overview

About The Web Monitor

The Web Monitor is provided to run New Tasks processing and Overnight processing manually.

Important:
We do not advise using the Web Monitor unless the Windows Service is unavailable. However if a task is required to be generated immediately, use the Web Monitor to perform this requirement. For futher information consult TriLine GRC Support about running the Web Monitor.

The Web Monitor cannot be accessed when ‘Project Mode’ is selected in the Configuration ‘Monitor’ settings. See ‘Project Mode’ under Setting up The Monitor.

Procedures

Operate The Web Monitor

1. From the Main Menu, select Maintenance | Web Monitor. The Web Monitor Page is displayed.

2. To run the New Tasks processing, hover over the Menu Options icon and select click on the Generated New Tasks 2 icon.
   Note: Click the ‘Do NOT send emails’ 1 checkbox if you want to run the processes, but do not want emails to be sent to the users.

3. To run the Overnight processing, click on the Overnight Processing 3 icon.
   Note: Click the ‘Do NOT send emails’ 1 checkbox if you want to run the processes, but do not want emails to be sent to the users.
